I was driving back from a sad trip to the airport. It was pouring down with icy rain and I felt as if the wind would pull my car right off the freeway. I was thinking about how good friends, such as my friend Lee, are simply irreplaceable, and make the journey on this crazy planet lighter.





When it feels like I am drowning
and the world is crushing down
when it’s cold and dark
and storming
out here in tinsel town
even the wind is weary
and stars no longer shine down
I fear I am slowly
losing my mind

every action each choice
just feels so wrong

Briefly I believe in something beautiful, kind, good, pure in the World – call it Source/Light/Love.  And obviously the dark is undeniable – it pulls the puppets' strings from the shadows… feeding on our misery. Today I marched for the elephants.
