© 2026 I was outside in the dark just now and saw your face in the clouded sky Moon was full and hanging low and I wondered, still, where did the Love go I think God took the Love away so that I would no longer stay I could not cry, I did not shout I just watched my heart bleed out Oh Amazing Grace, I’ve lost my way again I must leave this place out in the pouring rain let me rather be free and fly with the wind than ever lie down with the devil again I’m tired and it's so cold I feel like I’m falling in the illusion sold Grace amazed me but after she saved me I turned my back we parted ways when she was telling me to stay Yes God took the love away and I felt betrayed so I turned from Grace and set it all ablaze now I’m walking through the ashes watching flashes of dreams long gone their ghosts forlorn but they’re still telling me to somehow hold on Oh Amazing Grace breaking all the chains I think God took the love away so you could purify the pain.
