the colors outside seemed so dull

where He ruled ruthlessly

His Doll grew stronger
feasting on the freedom He fed her
even as He bound her tight with His will
whilst I faded
listlessly going through the days
until my awareness shifted inwards
entranced by the Visions
she shared with me,
our Melodies blending together
into a haunting Harmony
that drifted wistfully
through the Realms
and as it faded away
sinking into the Shadows
I surrendered to the Still
relinquishing the Secrets of my Soul to the Silence
a veil slipping between us and the World
slowly disconnecting
until I looked at my shell standing
on the other side
dimming in the dusk
I turned away from her outstretched hand
and wandered deeper into the Garden
a smile on my Doll face.

Briefly I believe in something beautiful, kind, good, pure in the World – call it Source/Light/Love.  And obviously the dark is undeniable – it pulls the puppets' strings from the shadows… feeding on our misery. Today I marched for the elephants.
